Celebrate Father’s Day weekend with some hands-on fishing fun at the Monmouth County Parks third annual fishing derby at Turkey Swamp Park or the Manasquan Reservoir. The fishing derby is a great Father’s Day activity for beginners as well as experienced anglers. No clue how to fish? No problem! Prior to the derby, the park staff will provide free hands-on clinics that will show you how to cast, how to rig, and answer any questions you may have (clinics held from 12:30-1:30pm).
