New Jersey Harry Potter Festival Promises
Spellbinding Fun for Potter Fans
Fantastic news for Harry Potter fans in and around New Jersey! The very first Pitman Potter Festival is coming to New Jersey this fall! This New Jersey Harry Potter festival will take place in the quaint Gloucester County community of Pitman beginning on Friday, October 20th, and will continue through Saturday, October 21st!
The Pitman Potter Festival events begin at 6pm on Friday evening with a screening of Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman.
Saturday’s Pitman Potter Festival activities will include a Sorting Ceremony, Quidditch Lessons, a Horcrux Scavenger Hunt, a Defense Against the Dark Arts Class, Harry Potter trivia contests, costume contests, live music by The Fizzing Whizzbees, spellbinding activities (wand making, herbology, divination, transfiguration potions and more!) at the Witch and Wizard’s School of Crafts and Activities, shopping in Vendors Village, and much more! Local Pitman shops and eateries will also be offering Harry Potter themed specials, menus, and activities. A “Day” Bus will offer transportation between parking areas and various Pitman Potter Festivals throughout the event.
Some Pitman Potter Festival activities will be offered free of charge. However, a $5 wristband will be required to enter Pitman Potter Festival main events. A limited number (3000) of wristbands will be offered for sale to ensure that the Pitman Potter Festival is a fun day for everyone. Wristbands will go on sale Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 8:00am to 11:00am at the Pitman Gallery and Art Center (59 South Broadway in Pitman NJ). Pitman Potter Festival wristbands must be purchased in person; no wristbands will be offered for sale online.
