2018 Carteret Memorial Day Observances
May 28 2018
8:00am – Memorial Wreath casting / flag raising at Waterfront Park
12:00pm – Services at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial at Carteret Park
1:00pm – Memorial Day Parade starting at Doc Fenick Clock Tower
The Memorial Day observances in the borough of Carteret will begin with the casting of memorial wreaths and flag raising at Waterfront Park at 8am. A Memorial Day service will also be held at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial at Carteret at noon. The annual Memorial Day parade begins at 1pm at Doc Fenick Clock Tower (Washington Avenue and Louis Street). A town-wide barbecue will be held at Memorial Municipal Building immediately following the parade.
2018 Cranbury Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

The annual Cranbury Township Memorial Day parade will begin from Station Road and South Main Street at1pm. There will be a Memorial Day ceremony immediately following the parade in Memorial Park next to the firehouse.
2018 Edison Memorial Day Parade & Services

May 28 2018 – Ceremonies – 8:00am – 12:00pm
Edison’s 55th Memorial Day Parade will be on Sunday, May 28th beginning at noon. The parade will begin near the Main Library on Division Street and travel up Plainfield Avenue to Jefferson Boulevard where there will be refreshments for all participants at Father and Son Post 435 on Oakland Avenue. Memorial Day services and ceremonies will also be held at various locations throughout the township of Edison on May 29th – see the Edison community calendar for schedule.

Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

The Highland Park / New Brunswick Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies will begin with the parade stepping off at 11am from Monument Square (Livingston Avenue & George Street) in New Brunswick and marching over the Albany Street Bridge up Raritan Avenue to the Doughboy Monument at Raritan and Woodbridge Avenues.
2018 Metuchen Memorial Day Parade

The 91st Annual Metuchen Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10am on Brunswick Avenue near Edgar School, march north on Main Street to New Street, then turning east to end at the new Plaza with a ceremony.
2018 Old Bridge Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

The 2018 Old Bridge Memorial Day parade will begin at 9am at Laurence Parkway and Ely Avenue and will conclude with a Memorial Day service.
2018 Perth Amboy Memorial Day Parade

The annual Perth Amboy Memorial Day parade will begin at 10am at Smith and Wilson Streets and march to Sadowski Parkway, concluding with a Memorial Day ceremony at the War Memorial at 11am.

Sayreville’s annual Memorial Day service will be held in cooperation with American Legion Post 211. The Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10am.

The South Brunswick Memorial Day ceremony will take place at 11am on the front lawn of Lt. John Frankopf American Legion Post 401 (148 Major Road in Monmouth Junction).

The annual South River Memorial Day parade will begin at 1pm at Main Street and Hillside Avenue and march to Jackson Street, Ferry Street and Main Street, ending at the War Memorial building.
