Avalon 2017 Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

The annual Memorial Day Parade will begin at 32nd Street and Dune Drive and proceed north to Veterans Plaza at 21st Street and Dune Drive for a ceremony.

11:45am – Memorial Flower Boat Launch
The City of Cape May will honor veterans with a special ceremony at 11 am at Cape May Convention Hall (714 Beach Avenue). The traditional launching of the Memorial Flower Boat will occur at approximately 11:45am on the beach adjacent from Convention Hall.

The Cape May County Veterans’ Bureau will hold the County’s Annual Memorial Day Service at the Cape May County Veterans’ Cemetery in Cape May Court House (129 Crest Haven Road – exit 11 off the GSP).
Middle Township 2017 Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day parade will begin at Memorial Field and end at the American Legion Post 198 Hall on Dias Creek Road for a ceremony.
North Wildwood 2017 Memorial Day Ceremony

The North Wildwood Memorial Day ceremony will be held at the North Wildwood Veterans Monument (Spruce and New York Avenues) at 10am.

Ocean City’s annual Memorial Day Service will be held at Veterans Memorial Park (Fifth and Wesley Avenues).
Sea Isle City 2017 Memorial Day Ceremony

Sea Isle City’s annual Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at Veterans Park (JFK Boulevard and Landis Avenue) followed by the throwing of a wreath into the ocean by the Beach Patrol to honor naval veterans.
Stone Harbor 2017 Memorial Day Parade

The annual Stone Harbor Memorial Day Ceremony begins at 12pm at 96th Street and the beach.
Wildwood
2017 Memorial Day Parade & Candlelight Vigil

The Wildwood Memorial Day Parade steps off at Oak and Atlantic Avenues at 7:30pm and proceeds south to Andrews Avenue. A candlelight vigil and ceremony will take place at the Wildwood Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, an exact half-size black granite replica of the official Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The wall has the 58,913 names of our country’s fallen heroes from the Vietnam War etched on its panels and stretches for 240 feet along the existing sidewalks of Columbus Park.
Wildwood 2017 Memorial Day Ceremony

On Memorial Day, a ceremony will take place at the Wildwood American Legion Post #184 (4200 Atlantic Avenue) at 11am where a firing squad and performance of “Taps” will honor deceased veterans. The laying of wreaths will occur at the legion post, Memorial Walk, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
