Carteret 2017 Memorial Day Observances
May 29 2017
8:00am – Memorial Wreath casting / flag raising at Waterfront Park
8:00am – VFW service at World War II monument at Carteret Library
12;00pm – Services at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial at Carteret Park
1;00pm – Memorial Day Parade starting at Doc Fenick Clock Tower
The Memorial Day observances in the borough of Carteret will begin with the casting of memorial wreaths and flag raising at Waterfront Park at 8am. The VFW will also conduct a service at the World War II monument in front of the library. A Memorial Day service will also be held at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial at Carteret at noon. The annual Memorial Day parade begins at 1pm at Doc Fenick Clock Tower (Washington Avenue and Louis Street). A town-wide barbecue will be held at Memorial Municipal Building immediately following the parade.
Cranbury 2017 Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony

The annual Cranbury Township Memorial Day parade will begin from Station Road and South Main Street at1pm. There will be a Memorial Day ceremony immediately following the parade in Memorial Park next to the firehouse.
Edison 2017 Memorial Day Parade & Services
May 28 2017 – Parade – 2:00pm
May 29 2017 – Ceremonies – 8:00am – 12:00pm
Edison’s 54th Memorial Day Parade will be on Sunday, May 29th beginning at noon. The Parade will march along Amboy Avenue starting at Walsh and ending at Brower. Refreshment at Clara Barton Post 325 will follow. Memorial Day services and ceremonies will also be held at various locations throughout the township of Edison on May 29th – see link for schedule.
Highland Park / New Brunswick
2017 Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

The Highland Park / New Brunswick Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies will begin with the parade stepping off at 11am from Livingston Avenue and George Street in New Brunswick and marching over the Albany Street Bridge up Raritan Avenue to the Doughboy Monument at Raritan and Woodbridge Avenues.
Metuchen 2017 Memorial Day Parade

10:00am
The 90th Annual Metuchen Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10am at New and Pearl Streets, march down Main Street, turning west onto Spring Street, north on Rose Street, and will conclude at Memorial Park with a ceremony.
Old Bridge 2017 Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

The 2017 Old Bridge Memorial Day parade will begin at 9am at Laurence Parkway and Ely Avenue and will conclude with a Memorial Day service.
Perth Amboy 2017 Memorial Day Parade

The annual Perth Amboy Memorial Day parade will begin at 10am at the Raritan Bay YMCA parking lot, (357 New Brunswick Avenue) and march to Sadowski Parkway, concluding with a Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans Memorial at 11am.
Sayreville 2017 Memorial Day Service and Parade

Sayreville’s annual Memorial Day service will be held in cooperation with American Legion Post 211. The Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10am.
South Brunswick 2017 Memorial Day Ceremony

The South Brunswick Memorial Day ceremony will take place at 11am on the front lawn of Lt. John Frankopf American Legion Post 401 (148 Major Road in Monmouth Junction).

The annual South River Memorial Day parade will begin at 1pm at Main Street and Hillside Avenue and march to Jackson Street, Ferry Street and Main Street, ending at the War Memorial building.

Please join us for a Memorial Day Mass at 10 a.m. to honor our Veterans. A wreath laying ceremony will follow Mass. Veterans will receive a pin in commemoration of their service. All are welcome!
