Halloween at the Meadowlands

Halloween at the Meadowlands is an annual event which includes a “Myth of the “Big Bad Wolf” talk, a “Bats, Bats, Bats!” presentation, games and crafts, and other activities throughout the evening. Registration is required and is available online only. Space is limited. Fee: $5/person.
Haunted Forest at Tenafly Nature Center

Arrive early or come after dark and meet several live nocturnal animals on a sensory safari along our trails. Learn about animal senses and then test your own sensory skills. Tenafly Nature Center Environmental Educators will guide small groups along the nature center trails. Designed to be entertaining and educational, tours take 1.5 hours. Following their tour, participants can enjoy refreshments and crafts around the campfire. All ages welcome. No strollers please. Space is limited and pre-registration is highly
recommended.
Hasbrouck Heights Halloween in the Park

Halloween in the Park is a family-friendly haunted hayride through Woodland Park. Tickets can be purchased at Town Day ($5). The 15 minute hayride through the haunted park ends with free refreshments at the pavilion. Movies face painting and other fun activities are available for children at the pavilion. Less scary rides are from 6:15pm-6:45pm and scary rides are from 7pm-9:30pm.
Westwood Halloween Ragamuffin Parade

Begins at Railroad Station, ends at Community Center

All preschool through 3rd grade children are welcome to join the parade. It starts at the Railroad Station and ends at the Community Center, where there will be entertainment & goodies for all the children! In the event of rain, the parade will be cancelled and the program will begin at the Community Center on Jefferson Avenue at 10:00am.
