Deeply rooted in Somerset County’s agricultural traditions and dedicated to spotlighting the accomplishments of 1,000+ 4-H members, the Somerset County 4H Fair is a traditional agricultural fair. There are no carnival rides and no selling in exhibitors’ tents – just lots of free, family-friendly fun! Highlights of the Somerset County 4-H Fair include live entertainment all day; horse, dog, beef, dairy, sheep, goat and alpaca shows; poultry, rabbits, and herpetology tents; go-karts, model trains, model planes, radio-controlled cars, and rocket launches; and arts and science tents. Hands-on activities for kids will take place in all 4-H tents. Food will be available for purchase and will be supplied by various community organizations. Free Admission / Free Parking. Free shuttle bus transportation will be available all day from Raritan Valley Community College (Route 28 in North Branch).
