Ballet NJ presents The Nutcracker at the Voorhees School Theatre! In this timeless holiday classic, young Clara receives a nutcracker from her godfather, a wizardly toymaker named Drosselmeyer, and finds herself caught in the middle of a pitched battle between the toys and an army of mice. NJ Ballet’s magical production of The Nutcracker stars dancers from the Pennsylvania Ballet and guest artists from New York City. The Sugar Plum Fairy will be Lillian DiPiazza of the Pennsylvania Ballet, and Dancing as the Cavalier will be Ian Hussey and Aaron Anker of the Pennsylvania Ballet. Additional guest artists include Jack Sprance, Max Baud, and Andre Vytoptov.
