Burlington County Clean Communities Litter Earth Day Clean-Up

Celebrate Earth Day by helping to collect litter from along the Rancocas Creek shoreline at this 140 acre county park. This 6th annual cleanup is part of the New Jersey Clean Communities Council’s Clean Water Challenge. Meet in parking lot to the right of the main entrance. Sign in begins at 8:15am. Registration requested for planning purposes, but drop-in volunteers are welcome. Wear long pants, long sleeves, long socks, and sturdy shoes that can get muddy (waterproof boots are preferable).

Trees, shrubs, and wildflowers native to the Pinelands of Burlington County will be offered for sale at the Annual Earth Day Native Plant Sale held by the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. This Earth Day event will also include gardening lectures and tours of the historic Bishop Farmstead barn and house, as well as educational displays at PPA’s visitor center.
