I’m a big believer in the great value that an outing to a minor league baseball game offers to fans in terms of the quality of the experience as well as the inexpensive cost of admission, and I’d like my readers to share in that experience. New Jersey’s minor league baseball teams offer spectators the opportunity to catch a ballgame in a smaller and a much more intimate setting than a major league park. I’ve never had a bad seat in a New Jersey ballpark. A minor league baseball game is also a great opportunity to meet baseball’s future stars or even a current major league baseball player who’s rehabbing an injury. My family has personally gotten to meet and speak to (as well as receive autographs from) quite a number of minor league players who have since gone on to play in the “bigs”. If you have young children who have trouble sitting still for an entire baseball game, minor league ballparks typically have kid friendly fun zones where they kids can burn off some of that excess energy. One New Jersey ballpark even has a carousel! Minor league baseball games also have lots of fun activities in between innings, as well as special pre-game and post-game activities such as player autograph sessions, kids run the bases, fireworks nights, and more!!!
